yup might wanna check that thread out before you guys try to buy anything.

Kennetht638 02-12-2009 01:00 PM

I'm guessing that since it has 18" wheels, it also has the sport suspension and associated big brakes? If not, I'm interested in front calipers and rotors.

What are you, Corky's cousin or something? Did not read the two posts right above you?

Kennetht638 02-12-2009 02:48 PM

Way to be unnecessarily rude, Davey. I'm just inquiring. Nobody in that thread lost anything. It's not like I sent him money already.

r u x8ted 02-12-2009 03:56 PM

Right...it looks like you're the one who actually lost money to a deadbeat seller already. Thanks for the tip.

Davey's RX-8 02-13-2009 11:27 AM

Let's see: Using paypal (as in being protected from loss) in an instance where there was no reason to believe there was a problem versus inquiring about parts from someone where the posts prior told you it was a deadbeat seller. THAT'S a tip.

RotaryResurrection 02-13-2009 12:33 PM

So can the mods agree to keep a close eye on this guy or close the thread if he fails to respond like he did last time (for 6 months!!)?

alz0rz 02-13-2009 12:34 PM

ALL these part outs threads are FAILURES.

G3tR3DDY2GR3DDY 02-13-2009 12:36 PM

except for mine.. which are never failures ;)

Most of the "parting out" threads are just some random aftermarket parts for sale, and not "parting out" a whole car in the traditional sense anyway. It pisses me off to no end when I see a thread titled "parting out my car, lots of stuff!" and click on it only to see that the only stuff listed is a catback, an ipod adapter and an air intake. That ranks right up there with the 'socal local pickup only" threads.

PEOPLE, SELLING OFF A FEW OF YOUR MODS BEFORE YOU SELL/TRADE YOUR CAR IS NOT PARTING OUT!! Parting out means that you are taking the whole car apart and not putting it back together.

^i hear you i contacted him last night and we will see i guess last time he moved and thats why he didnt go through with it is what he told me

gotrx8 02-17-2009 10:33 AM

that's right i did move..... i have been a member on here for sometime now...yea it was true that i did move a littel while ago... do you all need more pictures to prove such? I am parting COMPLETE car out right now. that's right... i plan on not putting it back together....

If you want to know the truth...the ECONOMY SUX and i can't sell it and get my money back out of it so i'm parting it out..... (filling bankruptcy anyways...)

There now u all know what going down...

let me know if you still are interested as i can give most of you prices on things..... keep this in mind some of you

I don't know the price on "EVERYTHING" so if it sounds legit and not like a "i'll give you 2 dollars for an ashtray" then it's worth my time to go out here and take it off the car!

thanks
-J

what's the status of the engine and how much? I can arrange shipping but you'll need to pull it, and put it on a pallet and secure it.
