It's made of the newest materials developed to prevent cracking of the plastics at high racing temperatures. I purchased last month to use at Road Atlanta this past week and I simply prefer my stock shifter to the Axial Flow. This shifter is literally brand new with zero defects. Hahahaa. I hear you. I keep telling myself, "This is the last thing," and somehow, I keep talking myself into "one last thing." Actually, I've got a list longer than my leg. I've got a short shifter, though. No buyer's remorse here.
