You are correct swoope it was the single most satisfying mod on the 8, it changes everything, my driving experience in my car went up 1000%. It's weird, I cannot drive my 8 without it. I felt this same experience in a 350Z I was going to buy, it had an extremely SS, it was awesome. A flick of the wrist got it in gear.

So how much shorter is the shift if I already have a Voodoo shift knob?

shift knob really is not very obvious. short shifter black and white.

good shift knob on short shifter priceless.
