6 speed transmission
 

Title says it all. Looking for 6 speed tranny for series I car. Obviously looking for working condition with no issues. Would love low miles of course but willing to take higher mileage at the right price.

IM me pics and descriptions with prices or just post them here.

Series II transmissions bolt right in and are much better. I wouldn't restrict your search to just Series I.

HAPPILY TAKE ANY SERIES 6 SPEED TRANSMISSION

Well, it's not quite a direct bolt up. The two electrical connections are different and something else needs lightly modified to fit. It's documented somewhere on the site and easy to do from what I've see though.

Just a heads up.

She's be back up soon enough. Let me know if you come across one, I am really liking the idea of a series II now. They were stronger weren't they?

You would need a different shift knob as reverse is left and up. ;)

(And shifter since S1 shifter doesn't fit...)

I have an aftermarket shift knob. Guess that means I have to lose my short shifter though huh?
