Engine turns over smoothly, Atkins still has the paper work from when they built it. It's a stock replacement engine ready to go.

Listed as NEW because it's an unused rebuild.

Price slightly negotiable depending on if you can pick it up or if I have to palletize.

Hey Matthew, Since your post count is really low and this is a high dollar item. Can you please post a pic of your user name and the date with one of the pictures and can you please take a picture of the paper work that goes with the engine.

I understand forum sales transactions are sketchy sometimes and that my post count is low and that I actually don't know a shit ton about RX8s. So here's your photo.
The paper work that exists is not with me, it's filed at Atkins, I called them to ask about it and they pulled it up. They've been keeping records on motors they build for over 10 years now.
They add numbers on the rotor housings so they can identify the motor.

I called Atkins again and had them send the actual invoice for the work done. It was in 07. Engine has been in climate controlled storage since.

Engine ready to go, turns over freely as I mentioned.

Price now $2600 OBO, gotta go!

off topic, why does it use FD's corner seal springs ...

Ill pass since I dont like the seal setup that they went with. thanks though

The gentleman told me the FD side spring seal is the same thing as the RX8. I've never built one so I can't say.
