it looks small for 19 ....

joyridevr6 07-26-2010 07:00 PM

Thanks for the constructive comment. I'm guessing you're not interested in my wheels then.

Xander 07-26-2010 07:04 PM

does look small

joyridevr6 07-26-2010 11:34 PM

I don't know what to tell you guys. They measure out at 19" and have 19" tires on them. I guess my photography skills are lacking or maybe it's the gunmetal color. Appreciate the bumps though.

luv4eternity 07-26-2010 11:42 PM

haha...no hard feelings ...i love your rims ...probably some stretch tires will make them look bigger .....wish i have the money to afford them .....

bump for nice set of wheels

xl2oGel2x 07-26-2010 11:45 PM

probably looks like that cause of the ride height..anyways gl with the sale..these are some nice wheels

joyridevr6 07-27-2010 09:06 PM

Thanks,

I had to raise the car up when I put the kit on. I was scraping everywhere. It was an inch lower before hand and looked very nice. I will see if I can track down some of those pictures.

ROTORwash 08-02-2010 01:31 PM

Interested, can you send pics of the spare along with any damage? Hows the tread? Shipping to 09250

joyridevr6 08-02-2010 03:59 PM

I will post some up tomorrow. I am on a 24 HR shift right now.

joyridevr6 08-05-2010 12:08 AM

Sorry, have been super busy at work. I am off tomorrow and have no other obligations. I will pull the wheels out and take pictures for sure. Are you a pilot or crewchief? I'm pretty sure I have to go with US postal to ship to an APO out of country. Not sure what it will cost to ship five wheels and tires, but I can't imagine it will be cheap.

ROTORwash 08-05-2010 02:47 AM

I did crew, but stayed in maintanance for this deployment. It will have to go USPS but it is usually not that bad as far as pricing. We will see - or I may have you send it to my fiancee depending on where I PCS to

I spent 6 years active duty and 4 years full time NG as a UH-60 crewchief. After a year in Korea I was stationed at Ft Campbell for 4 and a half years.

ROTORwash 08-05-2010 11:36 PM

Wow, small world for us 15 Tangos. So far I have only been in Germany.. looking forward to coming back to the States. Did you find out shipping? They look great!

joyridevr6 08-05-2010 11:47 PM

I started as a 67-T they changed the MOS number to 15 right before I left active duty.

joyridevr6 08-05-2010 11:51 PM

If I have time I will try to find out shipping tomorrow. I have a department shoot and I have to get ready for a track day on Saturday. Do you want to PM me the full address?

ROTORwash 08-07-2010 03:11 PM

Able to get shipping cost?

joyridevr6 08-07-2010 08:31 PM

I will have it for you Monday.

Do you want all of the take offs? I will send you the lug nuts with locks as well. Conventional lug nuts won't work. Also, I don't have a valve stem for the spare, that will have to be ordered. I will throw the best tire of the three take offs on when I ship it.

ROTORwash 08-07-2010 10:51 PM

Sweet, if you just pick out one of the better tires.. more or less to protect the wheel. Does it use regular valve stems of something special? Did you have the tpms installed on them?

joyridevr6 08-07-2010 11:08 PM

No tpms, not compatible as far as I know. I have a valve stem but the nut on the back is missing I can send that as well. I bought the wheels from Autotrnd. I never had a bad experience with them. Rishie should be able to get you one

joyridevr6 08-09-2010 02:28 PM

It's going to be $63.00 a wheel, which honestly is not as bad as I thought.

joyridevr6 08-09-2010 03:26 PM

I went to the USPS web site and plugged in all the dimensions and weight. It quoted me $33.12 a wheel for parcel post. I printed it out and went to the larger post office in my area and had him re-quote me, he quoted the same numbers 63.90 for priority and 33.12 for parcel post. The down side is, if I send these parcel post it could take a month to get to you. Let me know what you want to do. I could send these out tomorrow if you want.
