So a few days ago my passenger side low beam went out, after only 2 months of being replaced, so i was annoyed but whatever. today i got around to replacing it, and this is what i found had happened to the last bulb.

yes i've seen it, and i agree with what was said about touching the bulb.

this is what happens to bulbs in a fire. the bulge always extends/points toward the direction of highest heat intensity, its one small thing to look for when investigating a fire for point of origin and when determining how the fire played out. so basically, you touched the bulb, which left oils or whatever from your skin. these oils created a hotspot on the exterior of the bulb and that is the result of it:)

yeah i figured i did, i was in a rush last time i changed it, was very careful this time though, lol.
