Vid: Firing up the RX-792P - You gotta see this!
Saturday the Georgia RX-8 Club was privileged to have the opportunity to visit Mazmart, one of the oldest Mazda Parts companies in the U.S. and also Downing/Atlanta Inc, who build and rebuild race cars. The highlight of the visit was the firing up of the Mazda Prototype RX-792P, #77, 4 rotor. Damn, it was nice! You gotta check this out!
Go to my website and choose the "Videios Other" page and then choose either the .wmv or the .mov file for the RX-792P. SilverEIGHTStudio.com Turn it up, LOUD and enjoy! -- |

Music to my ears |
Awesome video!
Now picture this: Standing RIGHT next to the exhaust pipes when they fired this bad boy up @ Sevenstock! Wish someone would have taken a picture of the big grin on my face. This is definitely getting saved on my computer. |
There was a 20 sec lapse in the video when I moved from the side to the front. During that time I missed the fire blowing out the exhaust... just damn! I didn't even know I missed it until someone asked if I got it!

Thanks so much Don for your expert filmwork. I'll call you tomorrow if I get a chance. It was a terrific time for everyone. Can't wait to do something special like this again in the future.

Thanks Paul, I believe I speak for the entire GA RX-08 Club when I say that it was a great opportunity and exciting day. Touring Mazmart and Downing was a perfect way to spend a Saturday morning and we all do appreciate your opening up the facilities just for us. Next time, make sure you let me know in advance of a recording opportunity and I'll bring the real video camera with stereo audio. As good as this one sounds it could have been MUCH better.
