Indeed. Was a sad moment for RX-8 owners, nay car enthusiasts, everywhere.

yeah!!!....at first the announcement said it was a "KIA"

i said...."no way, i got beat by a kia"

then someone told me it was a hyundai....:lol:

the guys in the club wouldnt even let me look at the car.... :rofl:...they blocked it from my sight and said it was a POS!!!

Seriously, that car had nothing on the Shinka.

always looking good and representing the east coast well. i shudder at the thought that a hyundai could beat your beautiful shinka but i guess not all judges have good eyesight or taste.

pat where was my close up head shot?? haha

regardless of the judges we all know who had the nastiest ride, next show it's yours.

Personally, I think that girl with the Hyundai had an "in" with the judges somehow.....or maybe they were totally biased against RX8's.....if you remember, there wasn't a "Best Mazda" class until we stormed the show.

Anyhoo, I had a great time and it was wonderful to meet the new peeps. Props to Pat for rallying the troops and being a great host. :)

i hosted it and had it up there but it came out realllllly blurry...so i took it down...

Definitely something shady going on there. Maybe they felt out numbered since we had 25% of the cars there!

we hope that you can make it, with or without the 8 you are most welcome....i totally missed having you there....i tried to take some candids but as you can see, you are much better at that than me!!

Sorry I missed this one. I'll have to take twice as many pics at the next show/meet to make it up. Looked like a great showing. Sorry to hear about the hyundai award. Maybe she was slow (mentally) and they felt sorry for her???

P.S. It was all ^^^ his fault that I missed it b/c he was slacking all weekend on the subs which *ahem* still ain't done.

well...i walked around the whole event a couple times and can't recall any hyundai especially one that could beat pat's car...it was rigged prolly...anyway - if anybody's interested there are more pics under the original tristate tuner show thread...

yeah thats the thing it wasnt like thehyundai/kia chick was hot or anything she was really plain looking

btw, if you didn't hear, my car isn't boost leaking all over the place anymore. 325fwhp at 18psi now :)

haha.. sure maybe by then I'll have some more work done. If I can get 400 on a mustang dyno without cracking some ringlands (they're in pistons) I'll be happy :naughty:

Thanks I PM'd him. Curious whether those are the factory lip & wing painted black, or if they're aftermarket carbon pieces. The front lip looks great.

I believe they are Shinka213's factory wing and appearance package front lip painted in Black Cherry Mica....
