I'm suprised that didn't cause massive pile-ups.

Great find Toadman and thanks to Batmobile for snaping those great shots.

Take a look at those pictures again, folks...Now is it just me, or do the rear windows look tinted? They didn't look tinted in the Port of Tacoma video. Is it possible they tinted the glass at port?

Tose rear windows definitely looks tinted! So my dealer in Singapore was right after all. They had told me that the tinted glass for the rear windows and windscreen were standard factory items, and these were replaced with clear glass when the cars arrive in the US.

Sure sounds like a waste of resources!

I would dought any mfg would replace glass at port or at dealers. That is a tough thing to get right and not caust leaks or damage other parts of the car. I would be greatly surpised if they would waste the time or the money to pull glass to replace it.

Those were my thoughts too when the dealer told me. ( BTW we also need to have clear glass in Singapore) so the dealer is trying to get the glass possibly from the states.

That isn't the black tint that they have in Japan. That tint in the pictures is very light in comparison.

Anyway, does anyone know how to carjack a car transport without doing it like they did it in The Fast and the Furious?
