Rotaries and Wings
 

The Blue Angels flew this weekend at the Wings Over Wayne air show in Goldsboro, NC. I8U secured us flight line parking with the static aircraft displays where we had a mini car show. There weren't as many rotary cars as there were vettes and stangs, but we still managed to garner tons of attention. Here are the photos I took at the event:

I was wondering if the Blue Angels only flew 5 jets or if they trained up a substitute. That's got to be extremely difficult to finish a season after losing a close friend like that. From your pix I only saw five total. But they had a #5 and #6 flying.

By the way, you have some photos that would fit nicely in the aerospace/8 thread if you'd like to add them there.

Yeah I agree, must be tough going back up after losing one. They flew all 6. 4 for the diamond and 2 solo's. They only flew a 5 man loop though so thats why I don't have any photo's of all 6 together. I'll check out the aerospace thread.

ya you should have gone i want to check out your nitrous kit maybe when im ready to get mine installed ill hit you up =D
