Redtails, was bored.
 

So decided to check out how redtails would work. Hot rod red is the color. Looks good imo. Didnt have enough time to do some COOL pictures, was working a project :naughty:

I am not going to tint my windows. I think it looks stupid and I will have a autopower bar in hopefully within the month.

So with that being said here we go.

any plans for the reverse lights?

So does driving with oven mits on and sunblock but to each his own I guess!

Hell I think they should scrap reverse lights all together and just make everyone reverse into parking spots......oh wait.....

i dont dig the red on your particular car. im thinkin black/smoke would look much better cuz of your paint and wheel color but youre gonna do what youre gonna do

are those the standard 9.5+45 rpf1's? looks more agressive than usual i think. .or its the angles.

I applied it thick because I went really thin but it was purple-red and was hazed. Really the first picture it looks like crap.

I thought about that 'smoked' look but it didnt rub me the right way. I like the black theme I started but I also have added red to the mix.

hey i think it looks good on your color car, but they look super red... if you decide to stick with them swing by michaels (art/hobby store chain) and pick up some red stained glass spray (for plastic) thats what ive always used and it gets a great red coat with 1-2 full sprays and a coat of clear paint, or get the jdm red spray it might help you avoid that purplish color you got.

This is what I used but instead of Candy Apple Red I used Hot Rod Red. Angrybumblebee did candy apple on his BB

^ i agree but to each his own smoked would go with your rims but if YOU werent feeling the smoked red is good :)

I also feel that smoked is to played out. I believe smoking covers the fully red reflectors required to be legal. I already have enough trouble dodging jonny law with my red sparco. Dont need to get them another reason.

I usually hate painted tails but yours look good with your scheme.

I bet in hotter places tint helps. Its always rainy and depressing here so I dont want to add to it.

You may want to rethink the tinting. Tinted windows will hide the roll bar. This will reduce the attention from the police (you have a race car) and ricers that want to street race.

i dont see a roll bar i do see a racing seat though

On order. Yes tint would hide a lot of what I have. Just not a fan of it nor the loss of visibilty.

Ricers can do what they please. I roll at my own pace and keep the beatin' to the track.

no one said paint em black, just would help a little to slightly darken from the exterior

If it was sightly darker and not as thick it would look great imo.
