Maybe Because the top-managment of Ford Group consider this car pretty cool....

In Europe if you cut-away some Jags and Aston-Martins is surely the coolest....

Yep, that is a (dark) red RX-8. Not my favorite color..

what is that car next to the rx8?

The car next to the rx-8 is the Mercury Messenger Concept, which I think looks like crap. Next to that is the model T, then the Lincoln Navicross, followed by the Aston Martin AMV8 (sweet) and finally the new f150. On the right part of the stage is the Ford Freestyle FX, and in the middle is the 427.

After seeing the photos showed by miata35, for an European like me, the only two beautiful styled cars shoved in that pavillion are Rx-8 and Aston Martin v8
