yes it does handle nice It wants to kick the *** out a lot though, but you get used to it after a couple of laps. I went out today, and I was going way too hot to start out with, and I got on the grass after the 2nd turn....lol. It is fun though!

yeah, is that TGPR. If it is, how is the new layout, and is it still a cheese grater on tires?
The 8 is very capable on the track, especially after a little seat time in it.

Yep! TGPR.. I've never been on the old layout but far as what others have told me, the new layout is better than before. Also, it wasn't too bad on my street tires.
Regarding smoking Supras (literally), they were having some sort of turbo issues (there were 2-3 Supras that were smoking).

good to know. I want to go back there one day, for a really short course, it was fun. When we rented it out, I went through 50% of my Azenis on the front in one day. Maybe the new surface is not as abrasive.

it has been a while, it was almost 2 years ago. since then, it has gotten more and more expensive to rent the place, and we have not wanted to deal with doing a group larger than 10, so it gets a little too costly. that said, I did get a ton of track time that day. at least as much as I get with a full NASA weekend. i need to watch the TGPR schedule, from time to time, groups are renting it out on the weekend, and they have space.

It might be fun to get 7 and 8 owners together for a cheaper week day... Would some of you be interested in that? If so, I wouldn't mind doing some leg work.
For the Speed for Sale event, there were about 40 cars.. I got about 1.5 hours of track time and thought it was well spaced out.. And I had to come in at the last session because I ran out of gas;(

I'm going to keep it pretty much stock for next few more track events to tune my driving skills.. then I might either upgrade the suspensions or take my FD out... Also, the 8 is a daily so I don't want to have to hard of a ride
