Post Pics of your Shift Knobs in your AT
 

Just like the title says. I am looking for a different shift knob for my AT and wanted to see what kinds you have.

I did, but didn't find exactly what I was looking for. I am looking for pics of them specifically on an AT, not for a 6-speed because it looks different than it does on an AT. Some of them are higher up on the AT. I don't want something that looks good on a 6-speed, but bad on an AT.

The 8's AT shift knobs are different from other cars. There's no lock release button on it so to my knowledge, any MT Shift Knobs would work on it as long as it fits.

yea, any MT Shift knob will work...... its the same threading

Does anyone know if you can trim the rod piece which connects to the shift knob to make it shorter?

I thought about it, you would have to rethread the shaft.....
the reason I didnt do it is because its a pricey mistake if it dosent turn out right....

the thread sizes are different on an AT. a MT knob from an 8 will not fit, but there might be others that will. i'm not sure what the thread size is though.
