Pinstripes
Well, I've had my SS 8 for three months and four thousand miles now.
And every gahdamn time I look around there's another silver something-or-other. So I decided to add something extra to the unbroken expanse of silver that is the side of the thing. Here's what I got. Well, crap! I changed my webhost, and apparently the photos didn't make the trip. I'll check it out. http://www.wildwestcycle.com/images/...ipes - web.jpg http://www.wildwestcycle.com/images/...ipes - web.jpg And finally, around the rear badge, just a little "interest" the painter called it. change the colour would be more unique......

Cool. I feel your pain with the silver/grey masses. I like th red/black pinstripe, not such a fan of the seperate black detailing below, seems like conflicting styles, but to each their own. I'd love a yellow car/orange car, but I can barely afford the grey one that I have (edit, I actually can NOT afford the grey one that i have)

Nice, I like the red accent. Not too sure about the black outline on the sides, but the red is highly cool. Nice to be distinctive.

The black pinstriping doesn't flow with the car and looks misplaced, take it off.

stop giving your color markers to your kids! they tend to write on everything! LOL J/K

the black on the bottom looks like someone keyed your car but you get an E for effort.

friggen jealous haters!
|
we not 'jealous'. we just 'friggen haters'!
haha jk! |
the black pinstripes on your doors look out of place like others have said. Otherwise the rear badging strips look good. and the red stripes are fine.

I'll give you this, you've got a steady hand. Your pinstriping skills are good. However, IMO it looks like something a used car dealer would put on a car and call them "Go Faster Stripes."
This type of pinstriping may look good on choppers, hotrods, and lowriders. But on imports? Imagine a Shiny new Acura NSX...with 10" Tripple GOLD, 100 spoke, Daytons with white wall tires.... :dubs: 2 cents. |

Yeah, I hear what y'all have to say about the black box down low. I'm really of two minds about it -and they are both underwhelmed.
Although it doesn't show up well in the pics, the high stripes are black and red, reflecting the interior colors of the car. I left it up to the painter to use his judgment, and he thought the low treatment was needed because there was still a lot of blank canvas below the stripes. I can live with it, but if I had it to do over again . . . My apologies for the large size of the pics. I don't have this place completely tamed yet. Pilgrim |

Ghost flames. I actually suggested that, then he said a number that had more zeros in it than I thought was worthwhile.
