Pic of your baby seat in RX-8 -- help save mine!

Hello everyone, I'm looking for anyone with a car seat/baby seat in their RX-8 to post a few pics. We have a baby on the way and the wife wants to *gasp* get rid of it, she thinks it is too small.

HELP!

i bought a rx8 because it would fit a baby seat with ease. he is now 5 and still loves the car. but i made it work with alittle flavor for car shows and such. ill get a picture of it tonight. I have as seperate car seat that didnt come out of the 8 untill he went into a booster.

Plus i think the 8 is a very safe car. i have seen some of the wrecks on here and they seem to walk away almost untouched

My wife needed a new car this last summer and I wanted to get her a RX8. We also had a baby on the way... the wife said no way, and we settled on the Speed3 I think it was a good compromise for a car with pistons! Now that I actually have a baby I wonder if the stroller and everything else that we lug around would have fit in the trunk?

i dunno, over the years I have seen the results of many serious RX8 accidents and luckily no one has been critically injured. The worst was a Shinka and the guy suffered a broken pelvis but was otherwise unscathed and the car was damaged beyond recognition. there have been some serious accidents here, heck one of them was even video taped. An SUV pulled out right in front of him and he T-boned it.

Oh, and if your wife forces you to give up something you love then in my opinion you need to reevaluate your relationship.

I will take pics when it warms up a bit.

The only annoying thing is that if you have any passengers that are taller. They wont be as comfy as they could be. But that is only till you are able to have a front facing car seat.

Now that I think of it there was one who died but it was a crash into an concrete overpass at high speeds and no car will survive that well.

Sometimes what you want and love has to be sacrificed for what is best for the family.

I have used a baby seat in the back without problem, I personally find it annoying because I am taller and bigger trying to reach back there. In my situation we have another car that has 4 doors that makes life easier.

The RX-8 is a safe car. Has a 5 star roll over rating which is the highest possible.

I'm 5'6" for a height reference and there is still room. my girlfriend like the 8 over a few sports cars. she didn't think a sports car should have 4 doors like sti or evolution and didn't want a 2 door. so she agreed on this car. I guess you could say she's awesome. we have 2 other car to drive if we go on long trips and need/ want alot of comfort.

p.s. a stroller, super bag, and cooler fits in the trunk for a zoo trip we did.

Thanks for the pics, guys, its actually her RX-8, not mine. I already have a Honda Accord that she doesn't like to drive, and she wanted to trade in her car for a SUV.

I wanted to show her the pics of how the car seat fits in the car, but some of your comments she probably wouldn't want to read!

Thanks for all of you who posted pics though.

Not an RX8 but it's a kiddo in a sportscar. Here's my son in his Recaro seat in my '09 MX5.
