too bad its gonna get smashed real soon :'(

coldnoodle 06-30-2006 12:01 AM

NICE. That's some aggressive offset, but looks really nice. Does ur suspension come with ajustable pillow mount? If it does, you might want to dial in the front camber.

Razz1 06-30-2006 12:13 AM

Nice but you bought the wrong offset.

If you try to change the alignment the tires will wear funny and the handlig will be off.

If you alignment is changed too much the wheels will look coock eyed. (crooked)

^ hes jealous?

ELITE-RX8 06-30-2006 08:08 AM

the offset is from ings. I guess ings just use them to get more dish.

i think just need to higher the car abit and change harder spring. now my car between the tyres and the car is only 1cm. so maybe a bit higher is ok. and when show lower down.

Thanks XDEEDUBBX. i was about that ask the same question also.

Smashed real soon?? what you mean unreal89??

rotarenvy 06-30-2006 07:20 PM

looks awesome!

how about running some more camber to stop the rubbing?

lesper4 06-30-2006 09:21 PM

rx808boi 07-01-2006 04:40 PM

elite- dude your car looks really sick! that kit with those rims im speechless

SiLVeRE8 07-06-2006 04:27 AM

sorry for going off topic, i have the same offset but different size wheels for my rear and im wondering if putting on 275/35/18 will rub the rear fender? cause right now i have 275/40/18 on the rear and it rubs like hell cause the side wall of the tires are too thick. anyways does 275/35/18 and 275/40/18 make a big difference? or should i just go 265/35/18? thanks

ELITE-RX8 07-06-2006 04:39 AM

i think you should go for 265. and also roll the fenders.

SiLVeRE8 07-06-2006 05:58 AM

ok thanks for the advice!

XDEEDUBBX 07-06-2006 02:52 PM

im running 275's in the rear, you will definetly rubb, i had my fenders cut.

lazi 07-06-2006 02:58 PM

im running 265's rear but im not rubbing cause my race spec alignment camber. but if it was regular alignment. i would defintely rub .

SiLVeRE8 07-06-2006 07:32 PM

thanks guys for telling me.! :) now i know for sure i would need to roll my fenders. i just got a price quote from a shop and they told me that they would do it for $40 a fender, so do you guys think its a good deal?

RA-Eight 07-06-2006 07:56 PM

The all silver is so clean! One of the hottest 8s on here.

c41250n 08-12-2006 02:00 AM

get more negative camber!

+1.

It looks like you have 0 camber up front, or close to it, just from eyeballing the pics. -1 degree will help handling, have little effect on tread wear and will diminish (probably not solve) the rubbing issue.

ELITE-RX8: What is the width of the front wheels??

Again, what is the wheel width with the +30 o/s??
