fahrfegneugen 05-27-2008 05:48 PM

Yeah I would seriously consider it, but I would want to practice a bit. But I don't have anything to practice on nonetheless :) Did you leave the tire on?

RX OCHO 05-27-2008 06:33 PM

Try powdercoating. Cost me $40 each. Details here:https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-wheels-tires-brakes-suspension-55/powdercoated-my-wheels-146433/

TopGear8 05-27-2008 08:40 PM

Yeah powercoating would definitally be better.

fahrfegneugen 05-27-2008 09:02 PM

$40 each is pretty cheap too, and you get a pro to do it.

nice M top gear, when did that happen?

cmr333 05-27-2008 10:34 PM

powder is the way to go when doing this. we have painted many wheels in the body shop and unless you have a polished lip that is not painted ( you dont) it will get messed up with the quickness.

VS8 05-27-2008 11:51 PM

i followed the DIY on this website so yes i left the tires on
