opinionss on this type of paint color
 

curious to get some of the forum members opinions on this type of paint color. do you think it's kind of tacky? "ricey" or not? btw the paint color is similar to that light blue, silver-blue of the suzuka blue from honda.

i was thinking it was photoshopped too. the same pic is also in silver. maybe he did it that way give us an idea. just my $.02

Agreed. If it makes you happy, then get the paint job. If people make fun of you for it, so what? It's not their car.

Baby blue is not my color. Royal purple is. ;)

Be careful, my mustang has a light baby blue and it's a little more blue than what i am seeing in those pictures. The car looks very girlish.

It's pink, but I'm sure it's one bitch of an FD.

Don't know about the baby blue or the pink or any other "girly" colours.
I would personally paint my 8 gold (like the Top Secret cars) if I had to pick a colour to respray it.

I recently saw a BMW M3 with a similar color driving around my neighborhood. The color looks good. Its definitely not one that you'd see every day IMO.

The color looks baby blue to me. In my opinion, it's for girls or kids. Attracts too much attention for my liking.

if a car company shows a new model at a car show with an odd color like the one thread 10. does that mean that it is going to be a new color for the model

I agree that color doesn't make it rice, but I really don't like that color on the 8, so I voted for "rice" anyway.

I like it..it's my fav. color S2K, and i'd buy it if we had it for the 8...
