Alright guys so I am getting ready to tear my car down and spray it between spring and summer semesters up here at penn state. I'm trying to find a purple. So far I want audi's exclusive velvet purple but that code is not available to the general public so I gotta try something else. I want to stick with purple, everyone has a neutral color like black, white and gray. Usually the most popular after that I have seen are blue and red. With the body lines I don't think green would be too great and I've seen a few orange ones and I have decided screw it lets be different. Nissan midnight purple pearl is a thought but it may be too dark, if its too dark it'll be like trying to take care of black paint and I'll wanna burn it to the ground. So I figured I'd ask around on here. Heres lotus aubergine purple, anyone know of any others they can think of

 

Bentley have some amazing purples you might check out, don't know the color codes or availability, but give it a shot,

additionally, mini cooper purple haze and purple haze metallic I've heard work very nice.


You can check out Shinka Purple, you might like that color even though its not that similar to what youre looking for.

For true one of a kind paint, it doesnt get any better than Maziora:

Those colors are awesome but probably over a grand a pint. I didn't think to look into mini cooper. Some others I have found is cosmo purple by gm/holden. This is the velvet purple

 

honda fit purple.



dont be scared away that its a honda fit color. Bruce's FD is painted it.

Its been years since i followed this persons build, but they added a house of kolors candy to the paint. Not sure which though.

How about a High gloss black with a Deep purple pearl.

 

I made a few sprayouts like that and of nissan midnight purple pearl. Unless you add a ton of pearl in it it'll be so dark it will have the characterisics of black, easy to see imperfections and swirls and ****.

 

I think plum crazy purple would look sweet.

 

Made a spray out at work of the lotus aubergine purple. This makes it look lighter than it appears but i'm hooked, thats the color its going to be.
