Looks good and my favorite color too... ;)

Different rims, and a drop and you'd be golden! Plus a better intake wouldn't hurt (that K&N will).

What is wrong with the K&N? :scared: Unfortunately I can't drop her at all right now, living in an apartment complex with massive speed bumps some days I scrape and I'm not lowered at all, my brother has an 04 GT and his is lowered about 2-3" and tore his exhaust wide open on the speed bumps. |
The K&N sucks hot air from the engine bay and will cause you to lose HP... the factory intake is better... if ya want aftermarket for sound and asthetics get the AEM/MS or the Racing Beat... as for dropping it.. Tein S Techs will only drop it around 1" in the front and .75 " inch in the rear...(as per my sig pic)

I actually plan on super charging her soon once I get a few more dollars saved up, I would go turbo but it seems to be far too expensive for me to budget since I don't own a welder and can't manufacture my own exhaust parts, my plan is to get a centrifugal setup going over the summer intercooled of course so the K&N will be used as the air filter for the supercharger it self before the intercooler. I have no intentions of lowering it even half an inch as long as I am still living at this apartment complex just too much risk to take, i already go 1mph over them and only let half my car touch or it scrapes like crazy. |
oh my please read up on boosting your car before the firstorm starts... even SC will cost you $4000 +...

The SC's for the 8 are more expensive than a turbo kit. And the Greddy kit is a bolt on (instructions on their site look straight forward). No welding that im aware of is required. |
^ other than a bung on the oil pan for the turbo oil return line. Or a new pan with a bung already fitted. greddy makes one.

I actually have a procharger laying around I was going to refashion for the project, all the turbo kits I have found available are pushing $5500+ and it doesn't include the oil pan, gages, oil feed lines, boost controller, bov etc. I make enough to afford it if I were to save up for about six months ahead of time but i just can't justify the cost when I have a procharger sitting collecting dust my only cost then is to get a custom bracket made, get the pulley gearing correct, intercooler, intake lines, bov, boost controller + tune. |
