Don't tell me to tone it down because someone else and you don't know what you're talking about. And yes if you own a race team you can be sponsored and order pretty much anything out there. When you have money you can do pretty much anything. Quite honestly go ahead and kick me out. I know more about these cars and their drive trains and how to repair maintain and build them than 95% of you so I really just joined to help those that had questions. So when you or someone else start talking bullshit because you're uneducated, yes I'm going to call them out and if you cant be enough of a man to accept it since you're obviously taking sides then kiss my ***. There's a reason oklahoma has the fastest street and drag cars in the nation. Deal with it.

Just out of curiosity, could it be real? Maybe Mazda dropped 3 rotor engines into a few RX-8s and sold them to race teams. Maybe he really bought one off a race team! Or maybe the race team took a stock RX-8 and dropped a 3 rotor in, and THEN he bought it! I know I know... highly unlikely, but isn't it possible?

Mazda never sold a 3 rotor RX-8.
There are a few former SpeedSource 3 rotor RX-8's out there still making the rounds but I highly doubt that's what we're talking about here.
