Very nice! What gave you the idea to use tire shine rather than the vinyl/rubber/plastic protectors?

Does tire cleaner work better? I wonder if it leave a sticky finish that will attract more dirt in the end.

stupid question. Getting my flame suit on....

Would it hurt to use a power washer on the engine? Cause at the car wash they have engine cleaner.

That is what I was going to say, you can get sprays that you put on, and then you drive to the car wash or something and use the power washer.

Never done it though.

Looks good Dominion.

^Yeah you can use a Engine degresser and use a watter bottle to hose it down. It kinda smells but it works great!
I would not just spray my Engine down but thats me.

Its no big deal. I power wash my engine when I had my AT 8.

Worth a try I guess, I'll post a pic.

imput1234 04-07-2008 12:48 AM

Looks nice, I'm sure that took a lot of time.

Easy_E1 04-07-2008 12:52 AM

Very nice Gilbert. Now keep it clean. Do this every week.
A clean engine is a happy engine.

fahrfegneugen 04-07-2008 01:10 AM

Eh, he lives in Vegas, the roads are probably pretty clean?

You are correct, makes it worse. Looks good at first. It's also no as safe to use on particular hoses in the engine bay.

Also, take off the cover and let's see underneath. That's the tricky part to get clean.
