My garage with my...RX-8, 2002 Ducati 998, 2004 Honda CBR1000RR, and my last professional race bike...used to be a racer (retired 2 years ago thanks to a wall impact at 90mph at Loudon)

SWEET set-up!

What's the damage to the bank account so far?

AWillsea 05-29-2004 12:27 PM

For the 8 or all of the toys?

CCJ 05-29-2004 12:36 PM

Damn! Must be hard to choose what to ride to work... "Hmmm. Shall I cruise in the 8 or ride the Ducati? Aw hell, it's raining, I'll ride the Honda!" :)

Really nice setup. I also like what you've done with the flooring. I plan to do something similar in the fall.

Hey awesome stuff!

Question though, the starter button you have there, i saw it on the japanparts site or some site a while back and was intrigued about it, what exactly is it?

Just press the button and car starts? no key?

Please tell me!!

Upgrade costs to the 8 are roughly $6,000. Forgot to add to my list that I have received my Canzoomer Stage 2 kit!

Thanks for the compliments, I LOVE my garage. I used to wrench my own race bike, which is why I have the lift and snap on toolbox. If you look close at the garage picture, there is a phot of me racing at Daytona. The picture to the left is Ruben Xaus from Ducati (Not me)

Did you do the start button yourself? If so, please tell us all about the wiring details and complications (if any). As much info as you can relay. :)

You can read about it here....

how much did the ps2 cost to install? also what about the start button?

stuart99 05-30-2004 02:29 AM

wow very impressive. good toys.

AWillsea 05-30-2004 06:26 AM

The PS2 costs include, $149 for the PS2, $615 for the avelectronics video tap (Yes, I paid more than most as I have an SVideo input instead of an RCA input) $80 Power Inverter to supply 120 volts to the PS2 and $40 for wireless controller) Labor is free as I do all of this stuff myself. So the total was about $900.

The starter button cost $200 again I did the install myself so labor was free.

What with DVD-sound ????

When you use the electronic equipment to watch a DVD on the 8's screen, to wich speakers is the sound connected to ?

How is it connected ?
How does it sounds like ?

You control the DVD-player with a remote ?

Thanks !
