Linking pics instead of attaching them
 

I dont know if anybody else on this site realized it, but everytime somebody posts a pic they attach it which really kills the bandwidth and storage space on the server which costs extra money and could eventually lead to a crash. It is very easy to get some free webspace for photos such as photobucket or any other and then link from that. I think alot of the pics people attach are already on the web in some form or another. It is very easy to attach them once they are on the web. Just click the IMG button and put it the link at it will create the image tags. I will do it right now with a pic of my car so I do not waste bandwidth and storage of this site.

See that there are no attached messages in there. Sorry if I seem like I am a bit miffed, but there are hundreds of large pics clogging up the server and such. This way is easier and saves everybody some money.

Be careful about linking to other site's pics though...it eats up their bandwidth and some will get pissy about it and slip in a uhh..."substitute image".

I am not talking about linking to other sites pics. I am talking about linking to a site that an individual will use to host their pics and then link them to other sites. These sites are designed to be used in this manner. I am not talking about linking from manufacturers sites.
