curious if anyone has this and used it for the track, secure enough?

The amount of drag and G's produced on the large surface of the iPhone (or any phone) on the road and track to be quite risky to have a device worth a few hundred dollars in an environment that is prone to be lost instantly. Not to mention files in said phone...

There have been quite a few times where GoPro's have fallen off my car with little to no damage to the case... Got lucky every time that it didn't get run over. For the same price you can grab a used GoPro Hero2 motorsports kit...
