Very cool... R3 wheels look great on the Nordic. I bet you have a one of kind, there.
Some drop would be sweet.

I wanna see moar pics. I'd love to put those wheels on mine, so this interests me.

Is the speedometer off because of it? That's my only real worry.

Well, aside from finding those radar things cops set up, and seeing if it matches your car, you could get a friend to set their cruise to say, 70, and see if it's showing 70 for you. If it's reading fine at highway speeds, it should be fine at lower speeds, such as 40, but you could check those as well.

I put 17's on my Mx6, which called for 15's, and I was about 4-5mph off at highway speeds.(I did also compensate with lower profile tires, to try to get as close as I could to original size, but even still, it was off, and more margin for error at higher speeds.)

lol or use a tire calculator 225/40/19 (stock size for r3) is almost the same as 225/45/18. Less than 1% difference 245/35/19 is almost the same as 245/40/18 and is a decent upgrade.

Looks good! I prefer the S1 oem 18' better than the S2's.

Spacers won't really hurt performance wise. Any spacers will do...weapon r, ichiba, eibach, h & r are just some of them.

Just get the ones with studs built in. Trust me you dont want the headache of replacing all your studs.

Lol is right. It's not JUST the wheel size...it's the rolling diameter of the wheel + tire. The 19's have a lower profile tire mounted so the overall size hardly changes.

Looks good tho, love those wheels just wish they were offered in the non-graphite color.

Looks nice. Plus I get to see exactly what it would look like on my NG.

Might look better if they were bronze. Are they much heavier than the 18's?

Easiest way would be with a GPS. Take the car to the highway, and simply compare your speed with the speed detected by your GPS.

What was your previous tire size? Each time you change tire/wheel size, more likely your speedo will be off - sometimes just slightly. In situations where the tire size increase is really huge, then not only your speedo will be off but you will also lose power. Ideally, in situations like that you would want to put lower gears (numerically higher) in your differential, so that you can compensate. I seriously doubt that is your case though.

BTW, remember that Series II came with lower differential gears (numerically higher) supposedly to help acceleration at the lower end - at the expense of sacrificing top speed. So one could easily see why Mazda decided to add 19" wheels to the R3, as they already put different gears in the differential to begin with. I believe Series II also came with different gears in the tranny - although I'm not sure about that.

If your speedo is really off - which I doubt - and if it bothers you, then you can always get one of these http://www.dakotadigital.com/index.c...rod/prd126.htm

Your car looks awesome with those wheels!!!!!
