Help - Photoshop needed
1 Attachment(s)
OK...i have been thinking of painting my wheels for some time now..i am having trouble deciding on what color to go with. I have an 05 shinka, the problem is the color of the car.
I am not sure what will look right..was thinking about a gunmetal flat grey, or even something as drastic as white..but i dont know. ant photo-shoppers out there that can help me out? here is a pic of my car.. Attachment 253630 |
These are quickly done, but should give you a general idea
Grey: http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12851652040001 Black: http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12851651980001 White: http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12851652070001 Bronze: (a little too orange now that i look at it.) http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12851652010001 |
Gold or bronze would look good with black cherry, but I've never seen a really decent custom wheel paint job in those colors... they always look to yellow or orange. Get some bronze 5zigen FN01Rs, that would look good.

and is that a flat black? or glossy? cant really tell. |
I'm thinking the gunmetal/gray if you don't want to go the bronze route.
Flat black could look good too. |
bronze is hot lol

It tuned out more of a semi gloss/matte. It would take a lot more effort to photoshop a true glossy or flat black.
i think im favoring the flat black, or if you have a template with my wheels already traced out, and if your just selecting colors... send it my way. lol .psd |
I should have some time tomorrow, I'll see what I can do.
|
can you do the black stocks on a titanium gray? ive been thinkin about gettin it done. itd be appreciated.

Gloss Black: http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12852751410001 Flat: (as close as i can get) http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12852751370001 And TiGrey with black for Nick: http://gallery.me.com/martinkt/10016...12852751510001 |
mikepistoneater used to have a ti gray with black oem wheels
not that your photoshop skills aren't up to par fuz :) |
Out of the two blacks im favoring the gloss, however im diggin the bronze or white over the black.
|
bronze, definitely. bronze wheels are much darker than you think, almost black looking at night, but with a sparkle. ask me how i know
op - photoshop won't do flat black vs gloss any justice, come on. look around and other wheels, any wheels, to see the difference. one is ... uh ... glossy, one is not :uhh: |
Yeah. trying to show the difference in photoshop is difficult. A picture with different light on the wheels would be easier, but it's still really tough. Hell just taking a picture of flat black and having it look like it is tough
|
here's a better job on the bronze:

i vote white, whould look sexy with clear corners
|
after doing some research i have not been able to find a white Duplicolor High Performance Wheel coating as instructed in several of the forums.
Can i use any kind of spray paint? |
As long as it is outdoor paint. Remember to use primer and clear coats.
