Sweet exhaust. Love the popping and gurgling sound the exhaust makes. Reminds me of my old 85 RX-7 that did the same and used to shoot flames! :D How much for exhaust and hi-flo cat?
omg. very sweet...very..verry sweet.
I thought it would be louder than that. However it's still too loud for my tastes. Awesome vids though, enjoy the exhaust.
I love it I have Greddy as well. I was wondering if SR motorsports is the only one selling the hi-flow cat. Thanks for the videos.
note to self: get hi-flow cat ;)

PersonallyI think the car sounds like its farting w/that thing
Is it street legal? ...think it may be to loud for me to use here in Sweden  :( Has the Borla, B&B or Racingbeat a deeper tone to it? I want more bass but without it being too loud!!! :D
Great vids!!! tHANX FOX! |

One thing to consider - most people (and I do it too) tend to start up their car and film. This gives the misrepresentation that the car does a LOT of popping, when in reality it only does that during warm up to soak the cat in fuel. Afterwards, it only happens from time to time and during high revs that trail off quickly. |
Naaa, I'm not a fan of Greddy...but that's just me, I like the Borla or the racing beat ones better...
i thought the GReddy would have more of a throatly rumble than that... nice looking exhaust but sounds a bit to civic-ish to me.... I was thinking of a GReddy but now maybe I'm leaning towards Borla. Nice vids though! thanks!!!!
Yeah...Borla sounds tough...Greddy sounds...well, not so tough
I love the Greddy, I need the high flow cat....thanks for the vid

There is no comparing the tone difference between Greddy and stock, the tone is much much lower, very noticable even at idle. I have not heard the Borla in person but I can tell you the tone difference between Greddy and stock is very significant, it is much much lower in tone.
yea the video probably dont do it justice. Rumors say the greddy is one of the louder ones, with a hi flow cat I wonder how much louder it can be. There's a link for how the borla sounds like somewhere in this forum. I like both, but from the vids I think the borla and greddy sounds a like while accelerating. Either that or i need to get my ears checked :p
sounds sweet!

now that i listen to that im really glad i chose racing beat even though its not as loud... no offense meant at all but i really think that sounds like a civic... props on the sound quality from the vid.. i could never make it sound right
let me pull out my chainsaw.. bwhahah.
sweet video, thanks for posting! I'm going with the Hymee exhaust though...wonder what it would sound like with a high-flow cat????
Thanks for sharing the video but the MagnaFlow Exhaust that the RX8Store put together is still my favorite sounding exhaust. A very low throaty sounding piece that I've had for over a year now and am still very pleased.
Maybe its just the video but your exhaust does sound a little more high pitched. |
sounds ricey to me
