once again. Very nice job dude.

Did you replace the oem grill or did you remove it completely ?? Cant really tell

RX8inSTL 08-28-2011 08:31 PM

I replaced it, its a little hard to see but you can see the grill if you look.

jasonrxeight 08-28-2011 08:46 PM

whats up with the hood? cooling?

RX8inSTL 08-28-2011 08:52 PM

Pretty much, while I havent tested it myself with guages I did read on here a while back that it does help some. Most people used a different method to do it, but I kinda like the look of it. Hopefully i get some guages soon though so I can actually test it myself.

HockeyRX-8 08-28-2011 09:11 PM

looks good!

monchie 08-28-2011 09:49 PM

Nicely done.

9krpmrx8 08-28-2011 10:40 PM

Looks bad ass man. You are almost there. Get that lip sorted and ditch the zip ties and you are good.

Wantarotory 08-29-2011 12:46 AM

No corners?? looks smooooth apart from that tho! :D

hocknscary87 08-29-2011 12:50 AM

whats the deal with the hood, how do you do that. i need a few rx8 pointers on things like that. and does slamming it like that take away some handling or not.

NautyOne 08-29-2011 04:47 AM

@Wanta
You can't run corners with that much aggro fitment.

@hock
Slamming takes away from positive handling.

RotaryMachineRx 08-29-2011 10:30 AM

Wow great pics

@hock... If you don't cheap out and buy a good set of coilovers handling will not be negatively affected; all depending on how 'slammed' you want to go

wiz 08-29-2011 03:00 PM

this is a fantastic looking setup.
can we get some specifics on rims, tires, and suspension?

paimon.soror 08-29-2011 03:53 PM

God damn the single outlet exhausts look sexy on the S1. Nice work , sexy pics!!

Roidz 08-29-2011 04:02 PM

Ehh, when you get past a certain point the handling will be negatively effected, regardless of spring rates, damping, etc.

MB Battles, 18x9.5 +15 iirc.

Good shots btw! Real nice.

RX8inSTL 08-29-2011 06:30 PM

Thanks for all the compliments guys. I plan on getting some 5 or 6mm spacers for the front.

Tires size are 235/40 all around 18 of course. And I havent worked with the corner lights too much yet, It already still rubs some up front so thats stuff to deal with another day. Oh and yes they are 18x9.5 +15.

2005SSRX8 08-29-2011 08:15 PM

Looks amazing

Bighurk 08-29-2011 09:46 PM

Great photos.

hocknscary87 08-29-2011 10:57 PM

will its kind of bumpy around here so i don't want to go too low, and i'm looking at the megan racing 32 adjustment coilovers. and i'm looking at some rota p45r's, 18x9.5 with a +20. i know i should have this in the will it fit thread, but i haven't got there yet now im trying to find out why my cd player just quit randomly

RX8inSTL 08-29-2011 11:12 PM

^ hah, what? you didnt even ask a question just told us some random information.
