I noticed that you've stripped the interior for a roll cage but left the heavy GT leather seats. What compelled you to do that?

Satin black looks good on everything

Easy answer, there seems to be no bucket Seat that fits me and the rex. Had a pair of sparco but they didnt fit the rex sadly... The hunt continues

I really like it, all it needs in my opinion is tinted windows and a set of wheels that don't look so sunken. I believe this car would look wicked with some matte black forgestars F14s.

Not bad. Spacers would make it look a lot better or wider wheels if you don't like spacers.

Then u should buy wheels with the correct fitment my friend. It does actually help to have the correct offset. Think about it.

I Do like the black. And I apologize for giving an opinion on something you didnt ask about.

don't like the strakes, or the front bumper missing the black plastic piece, or how some parts of the car are shiny while others are flat, but whatever, you're off to a good start. since this is a track car why no shots of under the hood? There are benefits to having properly spaced wheels other than appearance by the way, take a look at these Porsche's and Rx8's from the grand am series -

they're not crazy flush or anything, but they are more aggressive than yours and I'd say they're pretty functional judging from the cars they're on.

I dig!! But I think you should put the some of the emblems back on (in black of course). I may just be an emblem guy though.. And I second the tints and wider wheels. Maybe a light, very light, tail light tint. Looks very murderous x.x

Wider wheels would slow him down so why even bother?
Ingemar I fit in the sparco evo 2 plus, you should too

I may be heading to spa on aug 8th and the 'ring aug 15th, if you want we can meet up there so that you can test fit the seats (and be spanked hard at the track ).

Thanks for the kindy words.

About my Enkei RPF1, they are 17x9 ET45 and work verry verry well. You need to adress both the fenders and the suspension if you want to race with hella flush setup.

And please please do not compare an grand am rx-8 to mine, the only thing they have in common is that they both look like an rx-8.

G, I have tested the evo 2 plus and I didnt like it sadly, I have found a new seat Cobra Evolution S that I sit perfect in. just need to borrow one (wont buy without test this time) and see if they fit the rex.

I would love to meet up but I cant get away from work in Aug. sadly =(

They where Sparco Chrono if I remember correctly, too wide and the head rest hitted the rear door.

The evo 2 is a better seat fitment wise than the Chrono. I'll shoot some pics asap for you

the flat black really makes the quality of the front bumper stand out compared to the rest of the car. would look awesome if it had a authentic front.

To bad Mazda stopped producing it, I was able to ****** the MS rear wing the rest had to be a quite good replica from aerokit.co.uk
