I have the aldehyde air filters, so they kinda look like that brand new anyway... changed twice (3 filters total) in 45,000 miles.

Butthead 07-18-2007 08:33 AM

Wow that's pretty ugly. Hafta go check mine now.

altspace 07-18-2007 08:37 AM

This was the cleaner of the 2. Just bought the car in April and found out about the filters last month.

where can you get replecements? Just autozone or someplace? Or do you have to get through mazda? Want to go check mine now, lol.

mysql101 07-18-2007 08:47 AM

aldehyde filters are a lot nicer than the stock ones, they run $40-50. Your dealer will carry it, you can also buy them off ebay.

Milc 07-18-2007 08:57 AM

½mv² 07-18-2007 10:06 AM

DIY on how to change these, plz? I'm pretty sure mine looks worse than that..

(Plz link to DIY if it's already been written)

CoMBo8 07-18-2007 10:53 AM

you mean DIY?

½mv² 07-18-2007 10:56 AM

oops

fixed

Whitey 07-18-2007 10:57 AM

Isn't the feet smell caused by mold/mildew growing on the evaporator coil? I'm pretty sure it is.

altspace 07-18-2007 12:59 PM

It's in the DIY threads. Basically it's behind the glovebox. Simple clip removal that holds the glovebox in place.

VASasha 07-18-2007 01:59 PM

Josh, link it damn it.

½mv² 07-18-2007 02:32 PM

Looks like you had a mouse or rat living in there. You wouldn't get all that other crap in it otherwise
