I thought there might be a reason. Might even be for the best. There is a guy named Howard in the UK who makes front accents from Stainless Steel which are supposed to be far more durable. That's what I plan to get for my car.

Random Question:
Anyone here live near Orange County and have a HUGE GT wing?? I saw one this morning...wondering if it's anyone here.

DOMINION 06-03-2006 07:35 PM

^Was it a blue 8? Theres this blue 8 in Vegas that I see all the time going into Canyon Gate with this GT wing. I also see a Yellow and Silver 8 go in there.

Right now I have a brand new pair of WB Front Splash Guards. Never installed or taken out the box b/c i just ordered MS side skirts.

Ordered these from Rosenthal before I ordered my MS side skirts from Town North Mazda. New in box, and still in the OEM Packaging. I paid $77.19 for them so $70+shipping should be a good deal. Will take offers. Paypal Preferred.

PS. I'm going to be putting alot up for sale. Check sig for items.

^ nice seen your car at the wolf3d meet, question though, any interior shots of the ptp gauge setup that you listed on you sig?

SecrtSqurl 06-05-2006 02:04 AM

I had a pretty good time at that meet. Eventhough me and my friends didnt know a soul, the hospitality was very cool. I do wish I had less of a hangover for it though! Here is a pic, but please ignore the dirty car! I like the way the guy put the gauge controller in the center console. The pic really does it no justice!

IZoomZoomI 06-05-2006 02:10 AM

oO sweet, where'd you had it done it get it in the center console? BTW there were a lot of people there which one was you?

SecrtSqurl 06-05-2006 02:31 AM

I got it done at a shop called Auto Bahn on Florin Road. It just happened to be down the street from the dealer that I got the car from. Expensive, but great service. The only I forgot to do was tell them about "flooding". The one and only time it happened to me was when the car was moved and shut down the 4th time! I like the way the guy tried to figure out himself and called 3 different dealers trying to start the car. Mazda un-flooded it for free so it was cool.

At the meet.... I was the hungover-lost guy. Shorts, Apexi shirt, white and red Etnies shoes. Average Joe!.

The first thing I noticed about the car was the way the yellow side markes stood out. The cheapest and easiest mod you could do is replace them with "clear" corners and stealth bulbs!

Is that an escort radar detecter? Which one do you have? The 8500? I was looking into that one to replace my cobra but it cost 350 $ almost.:Eyecrazy:

ColtSwitch 06-10-2006 11:37 AM

fyi i have brand new WB Front splashes up on Ebay and I'm about to remove my WB side aero flares to put my WB sideskirts on.

They do stand out like a sore thumb - they'll be replaced... I brought the car home a week ago and it hasn't stopped raining...

It is the 8500. It was pricey, but it saves my butt at least once a week.
