Well, initial mounting is done. Also took off stock spoiler. This is just a teaser, will get better pics and post about it in my build thread soon.

That's an interesting addition. In my opinion it looks horrible, but if it's effective on track that's all that matters.
|
Yea, not a fan of it myself. However I think it is something that is supposed to go through to the bottom of the trunk area. More over the rear wheels right?? i don't know for sure.. Ive seen a few guys use wings like that on Subies and they go through the fender to the bottom of the trunk..
And that panda is looking very warm in your front yard. :) |

The reason why it's so far back is because of leverage. The further back it is the more force it will transmit to the chassis without increasing drag at all. It's like free extra downforce. Also the swan neck mounts that connect to the top side instead of the bottom, create about 6-10% more downforce than a traditionally mounted version so it's definitely worth it. Also it's a polar bear, he's probably having a heat stroke though since it's about 70 degrees here lmao. |

I too love my GTO wing as well! I kept the 3rd brake light and had it shot with TI over a Zoom Zoom logo :)
