The car just became a sink hole for money, like most 8s at that age, just kept dumping money to fix things instead of building new pieces. Just got old.
So I moved on, currently DDing and NA Miata, with a GT4 on order.

Love the MS canards btw!

They sure do, fortunately this '04 I have now has just over 20k, unfortunately there are plenty of other places to spend money. I'm gonna try to keep mine for the long haul but we will see. I sure would miss having it. A GT4 would definitely ease the pain though.

I am actually just now selling my NA to fund a new DD and my TurboII I just bought.

Clean looking 8, I like it.

I've seen RX8inSTL's car build progress in the flesh over the past few years at DGRR. I must say its the cleanest well built 8 I have seen next to Rote8's.

However, I do find myself questioning the judges decisions this year.

No disrespect to first and third placing's.

firecan"s 8 for taking first place, his REW swapped 8 which is a pretty cool car. Third place being a VR with a roof rack and v for vendetta face masks on the headrests of its seats. To each their own I guess.

Finding the MazdaSpeed thing is getting a bit boring. Everyone is paying out the *** for these over inflated used so called rare parts to put on there cars. Every time at a meet or driving down the street everyman and his dog has one. There will be at least one or two that are genuine parts but the majorities are pretty **** poor fakes.

RX8inSTL's has taken the genuine mazdaspeed to the next level. To have the ***** to modify a rare part kudos to him.

In my opinion his car should have been awarded first place.

Keep up the good work Adam gorgeous car.

Thanks for the compliment, I had a good time talking with you at DGRR again. Did you enter your car in the show that is something I wondered? One thing I always liked about coming to DGRR was the fact that it is judged by enthusiast that have the same types of cars, as opposed to most shows where there are all types of vehicles. Also unfortunately everyone has their own opinions. Crans car is sweet though and I've seen all the work he has been putting into it. As for DGRR I will be back and one day I'll get 1st place 8, but until that time comes ill still enjoy it for every other reason that I have. Most importantly seeing everyone's rotaries from all over in one place for that weekend.

I still have a lot I want to do with the car but things will continue slowly as always due to money and time. Hope to talk to see you again at the Dragon.

Thanks, funny thing is with the MS bumper and splitter I still have clearance issues at times. Plan to switch to 265s when these tires are through.

I don't have a DSLR with me, but I can make do. I kind of miss taking night shots, so this is the best I can do to emulate one.

Thoughts on my rims

Just hoping to get some input as i get mods added. Authentic skirts are on the way and authentic MS spoiler is getting dipped for CF look to go with Seibon TS hood that is ordered. Would also like others thoughts on dipping skirts and trunk lid to give a CF look without chance of bad cf fit, i like to go mazda when i can. Or stay all titanium grey? I do love that all grey look, but kind of think af accents would help me stand out.

Thanks guys, go easy on me lol.
