Borla + Agency Power midpipe

I got my AP midpipe on wednesday and today I had the chance to finally install it. I personally think the car sounds a whole lot better and based on comments made by others *cough chrism cough* lol, it really isn't that loud. The pipe was dual resonated, so that might have something to do with how loud it is. Anyway, here's a clip of the setup with some flame action! :FIREdevil

Edit: drive by vid added!

Loudness is subjective.

That is insane loud in my books. lol

chrism 11-28-2008 09:15 PM

it was far from loud in person....my B&B with a cat was louder than that.....it sounded good!

05rex8 11-28-2008 09:19 PM

too loud for me

HockeyRX-8 11-28-2008 09:25 PM

Yea I just think sounds loud because of the video, but in person, it really isn't loud and the drone on the highway is not bad at all.....it is there, but it's very low, so you can actually talk to someone in your passenger seat.

halimsteven 11-28-2008 10:28 PM

it is not that loud at all in person, but how come the fire didn't come out when we were there?

HockeyRX-8 11-28-2008 10:33 PM

I'm guessing it was because the pipes weren't warm enough yet....because I took this vid once I got home from the meet

sinned2545 11-29-2008 12:19 PM

Yeah.. No flames when we saw it????
If u ask me.. Id say that vid was tampered with...It could b any 8 throwing Flames....LOL

4 real tho, that thing sounded CRAZY!!!! i like it...
The 8's are too quiet stock (In my opinion)...Thats the way they should sound..
That mid pipe was a great buy

SiLVeRE8 11-29-2008 07:05 PM

its nice but i cant really tell a difference from my set up. i also have the borla but with rb mid pipe.

HockeyRX-8 01-23-2009 01:44 PM

bump for drive by video added lol

lilring 01-23-2009 05:40 PM

That is not as loud as i thought it would be.

HockeyRX-8 01-23-2009 05:42 PM

That's because in person it really isn't loud at all.....I just think the sound is amplified in the videos.

CyberPitz 01-23-2009 05:52 PM

Man, I would LOVE to have one of those exhausts.

I'm surprised nobody walked by and was like "OH A FREE CAMERA!!" *Gank*
:lol2:

karstman7 01-23-2009 06:09 PM

Fortunate Few 01-23-2009 06:18 PM

The road I did the drive by on is probably the most unoccupied road in Staten Island because there is nothing on that road....except for homes. There is another spot near me, but it's always being watched by cops who are looking for people who are street racing.

sounds good man, I think the combo of the low borla note and the cat delete equal out and leave a nice tone

HockeyRX-8 01-24-2009 10:08 PM

I couldn't agree more.

szym0n 01-24-2009 10:32 PM

Thank you sir! :)

PSTNLSS 01-24-2009 10:48 PM

Sounds good Ray

Race Roots 01-24-2009 10:50 PM

An interesting thing I have been doing some research on to avoid the CEL light from coming on you actually create a very long space between the o2 bung sensor and the actual pipe itself.

Here is a visual representation:

Thanks Scott :)

Fluid, I read that somewhere as well, probably somewhere on here. I will have to look into putting a spacer on my pipe.
