NgoRX8 06-27-2006 01:57 AM

haha... ours took about 30 minutes to do...

Moostafa29 06-27-2006 07:34 AM

Took them awhile too.

NVMYGT 06-27-2006 09:11 AM

Awesome pictures. I'd love to attend an event like that just to show people what your cars looked like when they were stock ;)

IZoomZoomI:
Is your car your daily driver? If so, do you pick up a lot of chips on the front end?
Also your bumper says AutoRND, but I looked on their site and couldnt find that bumper. What gives?

Moostafa29:
The INGS kit never really caught my eye until I saw yours. Wow. Amazing. Any problems with exhaust heat melting the rear?

Do you guys attract a lot of the wrong kind of attention? Especially from the law enforcement?

More pics!

I have been through 3 exhaust set ups and a turbo since I've had the kit, and haven't had any problems with melting.

It does attract a lot of attention, but it hasn't been too bad. I've only got one ticket, and that was just because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Whitey 06-27-2006 12:03 PM

Those are some good lookin' cars. I have always loved IZoomZoomI's yellow 8. It's about the only other bodykit I would put on my car.

Car is not a daily driver, I drive it about once to two times a week. But there are chips in the bumper, not because of the bumper quality, it was probably because of the paintjob. Looking to get that redone after some other things I need to do.

Autornd, was kind enough to hook me up on Zeal function coilovers for a sponsorship deal and helped in numerous amount of ways like suspension tuning, install, and great info. So it's not where I got the bumper from but for all the things they helped me out with I want to give them some free advertising :). They got good deals on wheels ;) Anyways the autobahn bumper/kit could be purchased from mazdaparts.com. Takes a while to ship though, I got mine from outlawextreme after a month of ownership so i'm not really sure the length of time. Hope this helps.

O, and the law enforcement thing, I rather not answer that question, normally I just jinx myself if I do it. :squint:

Thanks for all the nice comments.

Moostafa had a great photo of BOOSTD7 (our site admin) picking his nose in Rishie's blue RX8 I believe. That was hilarious. Thanks for that pic Mike.

Moostafa29 06-27-2006 02:16 PM

NP, I found that on the RX7 site.

Avalonstar 06-27-2006 02:22 PM

All I have to say is that it was awesome seeing Mike and Jason's cars... gave me a lot of ideas for what I want to do with mine when I'm ready to part with the money.

* Bryan repeats to himself, "I won't look stock at the next meet, I won't look stock at the next meet."

Moostafa29 06-27-2006 03:08 PM

Take your time, its not something you want to rush. Trust me on that!

IZoomZoomI 06-27-2006 07:32 PM

Yea me and mike had our cars for a while, I had it longer than him, late '03 ish for me. So it took me time, peice by peice. Got to take time and patience, I went through a couple different looks already because I didn't make the right decisions the first time around.

Moostafa29 06-27-2006 08:13 PM

Yeah same here. I've been through a couple different looks already, and I will switch up the rims soon. Only reason why I ever got the Hiros is because they were cheap, nice, and I needed something ASAP. I never planned on keeping them though. Take even more time deciding on engine mods. I've definitely learned both the hard way.

NgoRX8 06-27-2006 08:28 PM

^what they said

it takes patience and time. but it's better to get things right the first time. you'll be even more excited cuz of the wait. lol. i spent weeks deciding on what i wanted, and now i'm changing. it blows a bigger whole in the wallet.

btw, mike and jason. nice signatures!

Winfree 06-27-2006 08:29 PM

These cars are grand - they make other makes look like bad copies! Great Pix!

BIU 06-27-2006 08:42 PM

lol patience is the virtue my friend....

I've went thru 3 sets of rims, 1 front lip, 2 bumpers, 2 sets of sideskirts, 3 spoilers, 2 intakes........

the list goes on and on... wish i had gotten it right the first time.. but hey... i took deals that came my way and they dont come around often....

now im happy with my INGS setup like Mike is... and i love my Varis spoiler....

Endless combinations of bodykits............$ XXXX
3 different sets of wheels........................$ XXXX
Taxes and duties paid for all the items....$ XXXXX

Ending up with what your dream 8 is..... PRICELESS :)

lesper4 06-27-2006 11:19 PM

Avalonstar 06-28-2006 02:19 PM

Thanks for the advice guys. :)
There are a few things I know I definitely want, but I'll still take a more time to think about it.

Moostafa29 06-28-2006 02:48 PM

What kit do you have in mind?

That was Node's pic ... figured I'd let everyone have a little fun at my expense :)

BOOSTD 7 06-28-2006 03:20 PM

Dude, your Photoshoping gives me a headache :nono:

How about trying the 'less is more' approach.

^Tell me what's wrong with it ? Critique is always welcome. Helps me out as a photographer BOOSTD 7. The 'less is more' statement confused me. Please clarify or tell me what you would have done to make the pictures better.
