Rm2,500 (Malaysian currency) which is bout USD750++

VASasha 06-09-2007 02:31 PM

That's a very good looking lip. Money well spent.

MazdaJeff 06-09-2007 03:00 PM

Sweet. It adds a lot to the look of the car. Nice!

effie 06-09-2007 03:03 PM

Ty Ty Ty..... :)

NgoRX8 06-09-2007 03:05 PM

YayAreaBruh21 06-10-2007 06:50 AM

minus the spoiler and it looks alright..

effie 06-10-2007 11:47 AM

personally, i only like the front lip...... thats y its the only piece that i purchased.....LOLZ....

VASasha 06-10-2007 12:14 PM

That is my favorite kit for the 8. Keeps it clean and stock with just enough extra to set it apart, and although it might not do much, I'm sure that lip does more than most aftermarket fronts.

Smokey 06-10-2007 12:46 PM

Very nice!! Yea, I love how its not overkilled with a huge kit, the splitter really sets it off

'87 Turbo II 06-10-2007 11:42 PM

That kit kicks ass. If you had a small CF "sitting-on-top-of-the-trunk" or maybe a 1 to 3 inch high wing/spoiler, it'd really tie it all together as a good looking, functional light racing aero-kit.

here for $582

effie 06-11-2007 12:08 AM

Oh well.....its cheaper there....BUT, customs here charge 40% duty over the purchase price.......

I think i'll make my future purchases via Japanparts anyways........ Depending on availability over here in Malaysia of course...... If Japanparts.com could deliver faster, than by all means i'll buy it thrugh them.

scsi 06-11-2007 12:50 AM

again i love the lip and the wheels too.

did you add 2 silver stripes to the lip? please take them off :(

are you planning to get anything for the sides and rear?

I'm still deciding on what to do bout the sides..... Maybe RE-Amemiya sides or INGS sides.....

As for the rear, KENSTYLE perhaps..... still need to make my mind up......:wallbash:

scsi 06-11-2007 02:23 AM

silvernite8 02-11-2008 12:04 PM

Very Nice
I love that AutoExe CF front Splitter
How much clearance off the ground do you get with that front?
Is the clearance that big of a difference from the appearance pac. front?
If not i might be very tempted to join this rare club :)

NaarLeven 02-11-2008 12:30 PM

Yeah I think I might go for that cf auto exe thing from JapanParts. Pretty inexpensive for what is essentially a full body kit.

Fitment was PERFECT...... only took me 15mins to install..... Mounts into stock bumper lower wheel-well bumper inner wheel cover mounts (need to replace plastic clip with bolt 'n' nut)....... Whole lip just slides on with no distortion at all....
Gotta hand it to the guys from AutoEXE..... Quality is TOP NOTCH !!!!

AutoExe is actually owned by Mazda Japan so expect a quality OEM fitment...

It's about the same. You just need to be aware that it sticks out further so approaching those big driveway curbs has to be done at an angle or you'll shred it.

My 2005 that had the full AutoExe CF kit is now totaled and (hopefully) resting peacefully somewhere. Suddenly it's that much more rare on this forum. I'm being "lame" and going with the Mazdaspeed kit on my 2008.

briann 02-12-2008 08:42 PM

The two stripes add a nice touch
Very nice :)

^+1

i had seibon replica and i managed to split mine in half on a parking stop, but regular scrapes on the road from driveways and speed bumps were not really a problem, it did scratch up the bottom a little but the lip remained intact, just dont hit it with anything straight on or the it'll crack in half between the V on your bumper and whatever your hitting
