It scares me that you are using a jackstand on one side and a scissor jack on the other :(

^^ with Lepichichi on this one (considering that post about the father losing his son to a jack)
anyways, i wouldn't mind an upgrade intake but to remove the bumper? Ugg to screw up a paint job.. i would hate my self... i drove the gsx primored for 2 years, i couldn't do that to a 8... good upgrade nonetheless |

^Paimon is right, the bumper comes off really easy. The only downfall while installing this intake was having to remove the bumper reinforcement to fit the intake then put it back on. Other than that, and all the little things that are need to be taken off, the intake was easily installed.
The instructions that I got with the intake says to take the wheels off to get to the push in clips, however, not needed. You could've easily gotten to the clips by turning the wheels all the way to one side. That would've saved me a whole lot of time... |

Unless they changed them, I believe you mixed up the coupler on the throttle body and the last coupler towards the bottom of front of the engine bay. I marked where the other one should be

Go to Sears, pick up a set of jackstands on the cheap. Sometimes stuff out of your control happens and a car'll come off that scissor jack. I've had it happen myself, supported by a jackstand and the scissor jack on one side. Of course I wasn't under it, to be saying that now.

And thanks for the concern guys. I had 1 jack stand on one side and scissor stand on the other, I will put both jack stands there next time I work on something. :) |

Wouldn't want to lose you. I usually back-up the jack stand on the side I am working on by leaving the jack in place. The weight on the jack stand still, but the jack anchored against the lift point as well, with some pressure applied. The only jack that doesn't ever fail is the jack that is replaced before it does. Every jack will fail, it's only a matter of WHEN. |
