Alternative Front Rotary LED Accent
3 Attachment(s)
Not sure if anyone else has tried this already but for those that are interested in the Front Rotary Accent LED this is what I have recently installed. A 180degree LED installed just above the aluminium accent. With the bulb in the correct position the light reflects somewhat in the shape of the accent.
Below are some photo's. What do ya think? Btw, sorry for the poor iphone pics. |

I think it's pretty neat man, good shit. Probably looks better in person.

Reminds me of the front light in the banner picture for the lebren website. I was wondering how you could get that lighting effect.

Thanks all.
Mainly just trying a different technique. In NZ for cosmetic lighting the light source should not be directly visible so that where the idea came from. My accent has a brushed steel finish. Chrome would give it a different look. I only used a single LED so a strip light may give it a more even glow. Plus a brighter LED might better match the intensity of the other lights. Pedestrians do lean in for a closer look. In real life it resembles white neons like the signs... |
Nice....
How and where did you wire it to? parking Light? Fog Light? |
