Im intriegued, you seem like the type that would maintain the 8 properly. Is there really that much deviation in the quality of the engines from the manufacturer? Especially the earlier ones.

I am recently on my 3rd engine. My previous reman lasted 3300 miles. My warranty expires this December... yikes!

Yes, all warranty replacement engines are remanufactured by Mazda
