Pure sex!!! Fd's are timeless.. please get rid of the wing.

SayNoToPistons 06-04-2011 03:42 PM

IMHO, the overall FD design was so ahead of its time. Such an exotic looking sports car:aroused:

silkysmooth3215 06-04-2011 08:44 PM

I will take em both any day!!! So sweet looking. These cars are among some of the rarest and sweetest looking RX-7's out there today! Bar none.

MS Addict 06-06-2011 07:42 AM

FD's could never be objected to. I'm no fan of the wing without an aggressive kit, but I am still jealous.

foo77 06-06-2011 08:34 AM

i'll be the one who object to put it here..

i mean those huge spoiler :D:

ps: FD = speechless :)

J0WUD 06-06-2011 03:30 PM

is the Mx3 v6?

silkysmooth3215 06-08-2011 02:54 PM

I assume both cars have original paint? Did you buy them new? Do they still run strong after all these years? I would love to have an RX-7 that looks as nice as these do.

Yes, that is a 1.8 Liter V6 and it is a pleasure to drive. The engine is incredibly smooth.

I bought the red rx-7 in 2006. A lady in PA owned it and she barely drove it.

The car ran perfect but smoked a little. I'm in the process of having a new engine put in it.

The Montego Blue I bought in 2008 as a shell. Everything but the engine.

I had a new engine put in it and since then I've put exactly 20k miles on it.

Cool pics! I've always wanted an RX-7, but i'm more happier having an RX-8 ;)

MBTwenty 06-11-2011 03:00 AM

Is the wing for you to push it when it breaks down? Like a shopping cart? C'mon it's not a civic man. Love the car though.

I'm forced to agree with you. For me, its like a semi-full time job. Taking care of them. They always require some type of attention. Always.

My 8 06-11-2011 07:23 AM

nice

Kari 06-11-2011 12:06 PM

Thought I didn't care for it when we had one, but I kind of miss the Montego Blue--don't see 'em around as much. Beauty she is... but the wing has to go. :\

Thought about putting the 99 spec front bumper on it? She'll be sexy. ;)
