No, sadly I'm missing this years National Championship event after attending the last 16 years straight.

Information is powerful knowledge, but as you noted all the searched links are dead. Planning out for an eventual major assault for moving to the DSP class next year. No stone goes unturned and such ....

Kautex Textron is a German company owned by Textron, the U.S. conglomerate. Kautex Textron, a manufacturer of auto parts and industrial packages, supplies plastic fuel tanks for the Fiat Stilo. Sales in 2002 were 1.2 billion Euros. In July 2001 Kautex Textron and Keylex Japan jointly founded a plastic fuel tank manufacturing company, located in Hiroshima, which has started supplying to Mazda.

¡Kautex and Keylex jointly founded a plastic fuel tank manufacturing company

Kautex owned by the U.S. Textron and Keylex, a Hiroshima auto parts maker, founded a joint venture company, Kautex Textron Keylex Co. in Hiroshima. The company has since started to manufacture plastic fuel tanks for Mazda vehicles. It is capitalized at 818 million yen, with Kautex contributing 65 percent and Keylex 35 percent.

Thats from this page http://www.marklines.com/en/report/rep240_200401 it gives a good description of how most tanks are made

Since 1994 six-layer/four-material plastic fuel tanks with a layer of Ethylene Vinyl Alcohol Polymer (EVOH) as a barrier against gas permeation have come into widespread use mostly in North America; and they are now the dominant type of tank.

Back on this again and while looking the UIM over I came across a >PA6-GF30< designation cast on it. This identifies it as PA6 molded Nylon material with 30% glass fiber :)
