Special RX-8 Announcement on Speed Network?
 

I was at the Autoshow today and spoke to a Mazda rep. Yes I took everything he said with a grain of salt and blah blah blah don't flame me :p .

He said there is special event regarding the RX-8 and racing coming up on the Speed Network in one week from today.

Can someone confirm this?

What is it?

I just checked and I don't have Speed so someone tivo this and upload it to the site :) if it is real.

I'll host it if I can find it! :p

If anyone gets this and has a tracker I would seed with no problems.

I have searched my EPG, no luck. Anyone else find it?

Okay by fluke I was looking through a car mag and there is an advertisement for the 'Speed World Challenge' on speed network. In the ad is the date March 16-18 at Sebring International Raceway...so now I know why the guy said Sebring (I could barely hear him it was so loud at the auto show).

Maybe this will help our search.

But get ready to record something :)

AWESOME....to see a renesis competing with such high end cars...lets the games begin!

It was just announced on Speed Channel. Mazda is going to run a ALMS P2 car starting with the Atlanta race.

ALMS site has a full story, but oddly, no mention that the engine is a 20b.
