RX-8 runner-up best sports car value
The March 2005 issue of Money magazine lists the RX-8 as the runner-up best sports car value. It also said it should retain 42% of its value after 5 years. The Corvette took first place honors. No mention of the judging criteria used, so their ranking is obviously quite subjective. But hey, I always like to see our car get kudos in print.

You got to be a member to access the article, which I am not. Any way of copying and pasting it here in full?

I agree with their opinion...
#1 Vette #2 RX8 Money Mag has better opinions than some auto mag's.... |
Also note that there was very few vehicles in any of the categories that had 42% value after 5 yrs. I'm not sure how they know what the 8 will be worth, but I figure they are going on RX-7 history. With the rotary, there is no reason to think the 8 would be any different.

Thanks Cap. |

This is the CNN site's teaser. It typically has a lot less content than the print articles, but its here if you want to see it. The only thing it says about the 8 (on the sports car page, obviously): RUNNER-UP: Mazda RX-8 Neu |
