Mazda RX8 Music Videos
This thread is dedicated to owners who are making videos about their cars while driving.

Here are the guidelines:
Videos should be:

  • Clear - not shaky.
  • Music is recommended - if so, make sure to add this to your YouTube video info:
  • To purchase the song used, go to iTunes and search for:
Song: Song Name
Artist: Artist Name
Album: Album Name
"no copyright infringement is intended"
  • List your general location: "New Westminster British Columbia, Canada" for example.
  • Do not post dangerous driving
  • Please described what sort of camera you used
  • Please described what sort of mounting you used
  • Do not post racing videos
  • Do not display your license plate
  • It is my recommendation: change the video speed (removes a sense of "speed")

I used:
Twist ties and my passenger sun visor to mount my iPhone. Currently, I replaced the twist ties with something more permanent, and discretely iphone mount that secures my iphone everytime I go driving. I was in one small accident and just happened to have my iPhone running as a car cam. Now, I ALWAYS have my phone running as a car cam. The mount needs to be secured. I bought a iphone mount that was supposed to "remove" shakiness. It didn't and none of the ones I've tried, do. RX8 suspension is too sporty.
The only two ways I found successful was (using electrical tape) tapping the camera to the passenger headrest or zap strapping a camera to the passenger sun visor. This is the only way (I've found so far) to produce crystal clear videos from the RX8.

Not a bad idea. I have a video on YouTube already, it just doesnt have any music except for the sweet sound of ExoticSpeed!

Haha! I noticed it had Norwegian number plates so I had to look up to see how's the owner now.
