Crazy Rx-8 Driver 01-10-2007 08:41 PM

i kinda like it..

Renesis_8 01-10-2007 08:44 PM

2.5L MZR is interesting, is that a hint of the engine that'll go into a next gen mazda 3? No that it is behind in power compared to corrolla and civics. But more is better, will it be a Ford engine or (mazda modified)? b/c i read somewhere that a 2.5L is going into the Ford Fusion as well.

Hoping I am wrong on this.

Have you guys been noticing less & less interest in the rotary from Mazda.

Fewer concepts with rotary power. No serious updates like years before with the RX-7.

Starting to smell the "end is near" scent...... :Freak_ani

not really :) , remember that 95% of mazda's products are piston, and yet 50% of its concepts are rotary.

But the lack of update of the rx-8 is really frustrading

Jedi54 01-27-2007 11:34 AM

someone go tell the RX-7 boys that this is their new car... :)

rotary crazy 01-27-2007 11:38 AM

lets hope not

I think the Kabura would be more of a concept vehicle to the RX7 Or next gen RX8? Only because it had a third seat in the back.

Jedi54 01-27-2007 01:51 PM

yeah, but it's more fun if we tell them this is going to be the next RX-7! It'll be sure to get their little turbos spinning...

chickenwafer 01-27-2007 07:44 PM

I'm praying to the car Gods for a next-gen RX-7

Ha ha, that was a good one! Is it just me, or is mazda doin' it backwards? I mean the feats. in the newest concepts-(pronounced fenders, scant headlights, 5 point grille, sweeping windshield, etc.) are all in the current lineup. How much more can they improve on this design language?

ASH8 02-07-2007 02:27 AM

RYUGA is NOW going to be shown at the Chicago Auto Show next month...

Nick Alvarado 02-13-2007 06:46 PM

On the bright side....RX-8 will be a collectors item....

JB_Rotary 02-15-2007 05:28 PM

The Ryuga looks awesome in person a lot better than any magazine pic
