Could this be the next cover of RX Tuner?

Thanks to Scott and Christy from Mazsport in Tampa for taking their day off, showing me around and making the photo shoot on this Greddy/Interceptor powered RX-8 possible. The car looks incredible, and their Interceptor ECU truly transforms the Greddy turbokit into a very livable street beast! Every Greddy turbo owner should be considering that ECU!

It's a customer's car who drove down from Maryland for an Interceptor-X E.M.S. install and tune.

Winners were chosen, and the 2 pics (one here and one from rx7club.com) were printed in the issue of RX Tuner that just printed last week.

Carbon and Wankleman - we only did 4 issues in 2005 after doing 10 in 2004. This was 100% due to Brian (the other 1/2 of the magazine having serious medical issues). We just published Volume 3, Issue 1 (our first of 2006) and plan on being REGULAR and bi-monthly in 2006. I'm working twice as hard, and Brian is re-focused and dedicated again to the magazine. We're going to have a good year this year, the next issue will 95% be 64 pages! All we need is to sell just another page or two of ads and it'll happen, and I think I have those pages sold.

When you subscribe, you get a set number of issues ... not a timeframe. I'm sorry 2005 was such a slow year for us, but we're just 2 guys making absolutely no money doing this. If you didn't get the issues you should have in 2005, call 866-RX-TUNER, they have back-issues to send you. If you call, make sure they have the right address on file for you since we do not get forwarding information if you move.

Can you announce the winners here on the forum? A photo I submitted was amongst the finalists. You may have seen the debacle that surrounded the voting....

Since now you've driven 1) Greddy turbo w/ emanage 2) Greddy turbo w/ int-x and 3) Pettit supercharger what are your thoughts so far amongst the three? Before you'd mention that you enjoyed the ride of the pettit s/c over the greddy'd 8 opinions now? (crossing my fingers you won't say stay tuned).

O yea and who car is that? Forum member? Nicest black 8 i've seen.

Moostafa29 01-31-2006 10:01 AM

I had never really liked the INGS spoiler until I saw the other pic of that car. Really nice.

Nemesis8 01-31-2006 11:06 AM

What other pic?

There's no doubt that both the Pettit Supercharger car and the Interceptor car blow away the Greddy turbo w/ emanage car. If I had to pick between the two, I don't know what I'd say really. They both rip, both transform the car ... I've always been a turbo guy though, I love being able to easily turn up the boost, and easily swap out turbo wheels to go for 'more'.

I think the supercharger kit is best for someone looking for an as livable as possible street car who's happy with 250 at the wheels. The turbo/interceptor setup would be the way to go for people who think they might want to push the edge.

What happened to the other pic that was on this thread?
