I know, I'm spoiling the fun being too accurate with facts. It's easier to just go with the pack...

But look at that as a friendly advise to not look too uninformed in the future when you decide to use the same joke again... If you preemt that with something like "I know it's out of date, but here's a joke I like" than you'll look better in front of your audience... ;)

Tough crowd.

Sorry... Just cranky lately.

But, back to the original thread subject. Has anyone used a SoundGate system before? (look at my original post on this thread).

Should we wait for the Zune adaptor or look for other options?

Well, I was the original poster. And although I'm not a fan of iTunes, I bought an IPod because at the time I didn't really have much choice if I wanted to be able to control it from the head unit in the RX8. I missed out on wireless sync, which sucks, but again, I didn't have much choice.

The iPod as a device is pretty good, can't really complain. iTunes isn't great and I had to replicate my entire music collection as I also use Windows Media Player for my other MP3 players such as the mini flashed based one I used at the gym.

Personally I think car head units have moved pathetically slowly in this area. There is no good reason why I shouldn't have a Mazda installed head unit that includes a decent size hard drive, USB port, SD slot and a wireless adapter that I can configure to connect to my wireless network so it pulls my latest music everytime I drive into the garage. This tech has been around for quite a while now.
